After 69 days, there has been a decline in corona cases. However, 10 thousand 112 cases were registered on Sunday. On Saturday also 12 thousand 193 new cases of corona were reported. With this, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 65 thousand 683. In such a situation, the cases registered on Monday are going to give relief. But new cases of infection are not satisfactory.

Corona continues to wreak havoc in big cities like Maharashtra, Delhi and the situation is worrying. While 7 thousand 178 cases of corona have been registered on Monday, 16 people have died due to infection in the last 24 hours. Out of these 8 deaths have happened in Kerala alone. However, a total of 9011 people have also defeated the infection in one day.

Recovery rate increased to 98.67 percent

According to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health, the number of active cases in the country is 65 thousand 683, the total number of infected cases is 4 crore 48 lakh 91 thousand 989, the total number of discharged patients is 4 crore 43 lakh 01 thousand 865.

At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 31 thousand 345 people have lost their lives due to infection. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, at present the daily positive rate is 9.16 percent. At the same time, a continuous increase is being recorded in the number of people recovering from Corona. Apart from this, now the recovery rate has increased to 98.67 percent. Although the death rate is 1.18 percent.

Union Health Secretary’s appeal to the states

The situation remains serious in some states of the country like Maharashtra, Delhi and Kerala. In this connection, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Haryana and Delhi. In this letter, he has urged all the governments not to be lax at any level. He has said that proper management of the epidemic can reduce its havoc.
